- I am an American living in Thailand currently studying languages. I speak Thai and Japanese fairly fluently. Also, I am able to communicate in Korean and Chinese (albeit basically).

I envy you your language skills and the life you are living.Like many other pseudo warriors I greatly admire Japanese culture,and of course for many a year Shintoism was my philosophy and Shogun my Bible.
I lost the ability to learn language,as well as higher math functions after a skull fracture.Years of drugs didn't helped either!
The longer I am clean,the more write,the more my mind seems to flex it's prowess again.I can only pray for the ability to learn language,but if able would pick Japanese.
I even looked at(from one of your ads displayed)hotel costs for the trip I am planning to the Far East,just as soon as I get that first $30,000 cheque from my ads!
